3-day Kathak Utsav in city

The first ever three mega bonanza of classical dances and seminar, ' Kathak Utsav', organised by Pracheen Kala Kendra in collaboration with national Kathak Kendra, New Delhi, will start at Tagore Theatre on Friday at 6:30 pm. 

The highlights of the utsav will the stalwart scholars in two-day brain storming sessions on kathak and captivating performances in the evening. —OC

• January 19:  Dr Samira Koser, Chandigarh, (Solo); Swati Wangnoo Tiwari and Jyoti Singh , New Delhi, (Duet); Ram Mohan Maharaj, Delhi, (Solo).  
• Jan  20:  Rujuta Soman, Pune , (Solo); Mangala Bhatt & Raghav Raj Bhatt, Hyderabad, (Duet); Shama Bhate & troupe, Pune. 
• Jan 21: Sudeshna Maulik, Canada, (Solo); Vaibhav Krishna Maharaj and Vasu Maharaj, Mumbai, (Duet); Guru Rajendra Gangani and troupe, New Delhi.
• All performances at Tagore Theatre will start at 6.30 pm.
