4,197 appear for five-year LLB course entrance

  • As many as 4,197 candidates appeared for the entrance exam of the BA/BCom LLB (Hons) five-year integrated course of Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh.
  • The entrance was conducted at the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS). 
  • The admissions to the course is based on the entrance test and marks in Class XII, which is the qualifying examination.
  • Scores of both Class XII and the entrance test carry 50 per cent weightage. PU Controller of Examinations Parvinder Singh informed that 4,508 students had applied for the entrance and 93.10 per cent of them took the test.
  • A total of 16 centres were set up. Students were provided free e-rickshaw facility from the entry gates of the PU.
