The police have registered a case against unidentified persons for murder of a 50-year-old man, a resident of Bhadson. The police said the deceased was identified as Balwinder Singh.

“A case has been registered on the complaint of victim’s brother Chamkaur Singh, also a resident of Bhadson,” the police added. Chamkaur stated to the police that his brother had gone out for some work on Tuesday, but did not return home.

“Later, I was informed on Wednesday that Balwinder’s dead body was found in fields of Mangewal village,” he added. The police have registered a case of murder under Section 302, Indian Penal Code, against unidentified persons and started an investigation.
