7 booked for unnatural sex with 14-yr-old

The local police have booked seven persons on a charge of having unnatural sex with a 14-year-old boy.
The accused have been identified as Shana, Gaurav, Raja, Simrat Singh, Narinder Singh, Simra and Manga of Boharpur Janehediya village. The police said in August, when the victim was returning home on a bicycle, the accused stopped him and took him to an isolated place near an overhead water tank of the village. The victim said the accused allegedly had sex with him.
A case under Section 377 (whoever voluntarily has carnal intercourse against the order of nature with any man, woman or animal, shall be punished), 363, 342, 323, 506, 120-B of the IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, has been registered against the accused.
The police said investigations were underway. — TNS
