The Skill Development Committee of MCM DAV College for Women began a seven-day bridge course in economics here today.

To introduce beginners to the nuances of the subject, the highlight of the course was an introductory lecture by college Principal Dr Nisha Bhargava, an expert in energy economics. The lecture on ‘An introduction to economics’ was attended by 32 aspiring economists.— TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
