Actor Mukesh Rishi seeks votes for Cong

The Congress campaign in the city got star power with Bollywood actor Mukesh Rishi came here to campaign for Pawan Kumar Bansal, Congress candidate from Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat.

Rishi visited Bapu Dham Colony and Sector 7 Ramlila Ground to address the gathering. Raising slogans in favour of the Congress in an atmosphere filled with music, dhol beats and crowd cheers, Rishi urged the public to vote only for Pawan Kumar Bansal.

Referring to Chandigarh’s miserable Swachhta and Smart City’s ranking, he said: “In the past five years the change that took place in Chandigarh is really shocking. It is only Bansal who can get Chandigarh its lost glory and honour back.” — TNS
