Actor Samaira Sandhu on Monday visited the University Institute of Fashion Technology and Vocational Development, Panjab University, Chandigarh.

She revealed how she entered Bollywood, while interacting with the students. She said the shooting of her first Hindi film, which was based on a refuge boy who did not know about his nationality, would begin in February. Samaira shared her work experience with the students and also talked about the challenges she faced in the profession. 

She said she started her career with a south Indian film and before that she was working with an MNC. “Had I not been an actress, I would have been a scientist,” she said.

She also talked about her book ‘Heaven In A Hell’ based on the issue of de-addiction. Dr Prabhdip Brar, chairperson of the department, thanked Samaira for interacting with the students.
