Affixation of high security plates for ‘CH01-BM’ series begins

The Registration and Licensing Authority has started affixation of high security registration plates (HSRPs) on vehicles having registration numbers of “CH01-BM” series.

Vehicles owners of the series can apply for affixation of HSRPs from April 16 to May 31 at the RLA offices with a request on plain paper mentioning the detail of chassis number, engine number, make, model, copy of registration certificate of the vehicle and copy of valid insurance within above said period.

In case vehicle owners of series CH01-BM do not get HSRPs affixed within the stipulated period on their vehicles, the traffic police can challan the vehicles of the series.

Affixation of HSRPs has already been carried out for vehicles of series CH01-BN, CH01-BP and CH01-BQ. Vehicle owners of these series were given the last opportunity to get HSRPs affixed on their vehicles up to April 30, 2018. After the deadline, vehicles of these series without HSRPs would be issued challans.

Moreover, the process for affixation of HSRPs on current running series, CH01-BR, is being carried out till further orders.

Deadline for CH01-BN, CH01-BP, CH01-BQ series

Affixation of HSRPs has already been carried out for vehicles of series CH01-BN, CH01-BP and CH01-BQ. Vehicle owners of these series were given the last opportunity to get high security registration plates affixed on their vehicles up to April 30, 2018. After the deadline, vehicles of these series without HSRPs would be issued challans.
