AKSIPS-125 Smart School, Kharar, presented a colourful programme on the eve of Mahashivaratri. The event began with ‘Shiv Mahima’, followed by a value-based and informative play. Students were able to understand and appreciate the ideologies of Lord Shiva. Principal Jagit Sekhon applauded the students efforts.

Jain Jainendra, Panchkula

A special morning assembly was organised at Jainendra Public School, Panchkula, to welcome Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthman. Students raised slogans of ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, Vande Matram and ‘Abhinandan Zindabad’. Principal Saroj Sharma was also present on the occasion.

The Knowledge Bus, Kharar

The Knowledge Bus School, Kharar, organised an inter-school cricket tournament on its premises. Various schools of the tricity and Haryana participated in the tournament with enthusiasm. St Joseph School scored 32/10 in 9.5 overs whereas DPS Panipat-A won the match by scoring 33/1 in 5.1 overs. In this final match, DPS Panipat-A gave a tough competition to St Joseph School and won by 9 wickets. Aradhey, who took four wickets, won the Man of the Match title.

Oakridge International, Kharar

Hockey player Sandeep Singh also known as Flicker Singh visited Oakridge International School, Kharar. He inspired students to be punctual, disciplined, sincere, hard worker and fearless. He shared his life journey with the kids. The 32-year-old former captain of the national hockey team has acquired a plethora of world records and awards at a very young age. He advised the students to keep working hard.
