Annual function

Patiala: Tiny tots of First Step Kindergarten presented the Ramayana during the annual day function of the school at the Harpal Tiwana Centre for Performing Arts. The presentation was directed by Ritu Tiwana, technically created by Vikas Juneja and supported by Harjit Kaur. Ritesh as Ram, Shabad as Laxman, Anaira as Sita, Arav as Hanuman and Aditi as Ravan gave wonderful performances. OC

Extension lecture organised

An extension lecture on the topic, Orientalism and Post Coloniality, was organised at Mohindra College Patiala. The lecture was delivered by eminent literary scholar and College Principal Sangeeta Handa. Students of literature, English Honours, Honours School and MA English were benefited by the comprehensive lecture. The resource person spoke in clear and plain term to address the level of understanding of students. Vice-Principal Tripti Sharma, Department heads of English, Punjabi and all members of three language faculties were present during the lecture.

National Integration Day

Senior Secondary Model School, Punjabi University, Patiala, celebrated National Integration Day. The principal, staff and students took a pledge to work with dedication to preserve and strengthen the freedom and integrity of the nation. Cadets from the 3 PB Air Sqn NCC, Patiala, also presented speeches on the occasion. Director-cum-Principal SK Nirmal Goyal, Vice-Principal Iqbal Kaur, Parvinder Singh, ANO Satvir Singh Gill and other staff members were also present on the occasion.
