AS Chawla is now ADGP

The state government has promoted Panchkula Police Commissioner and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Arshinder Singh Chawla to the rank of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) with immediate effect.

The orders in this regard were issued on Monday.

Chawla, a 1993-batch Haryana-cadre IPS, was appointed the Panchkula Police Commissioner in July last year.
