BCA counselling begins, SD College seats filled within 40 minutes

Chandigarh, July 13

The centralised admission for BCA for all city colleges began at GGDSD College here today.

Admission was held for students falling in the general pool (outside UT), SC/ST, physically handicapped, children of defence personnel and freedom fighter categories.

All seats of SD College were filled within 40 minutes of the start of the admission process with a cut-off of score of 96.4 per cent. The last rank admitted was 68 and DAV College, Sector 10, closed at a score of 93.2 per cent with the last rank admitted being 100.

Coordinator Dr Virender Singh said, “Admission was held for 352 seats today. Admission for general category seats of the UT pool will be held tomorrow. The UT pool has a total of 527 seats. All the seats left vacant today will be de-reserved during second counselling on July 21.”
