BECC crush ASC, Landran, by 4 wickets

Patiala, May 30

Black Elephant Cricket Club (BECC) here clinched the 16th Hot Weather Trophy on Wednesday by defeating Achivers School of Cricket team from Landran by 4 wickets.

The Landran-based team won the toss and elected to bat first. The team was bowled-out at a total of 186 runs. Shivin from the team remained the top scorer with 60 runs while Pratham scored 39 and Basoli 18.

BECC chased the score in 37.3 overs at a loss of 6 wickets as Manvir scored 40 runs, Aryan Yadav 24, Ripan scored 26 and remained not out.

Arpan Walia of BECC remained the best bowler with 11 wickets, while Manveer remained the best batsman. Sports officer Capt Satyam gave away the prizes to the winners.
