Bhavan’s Asmi 1st in Panchkula city

Though students from Panchkula fail to figure on the tricity toppers’ list, three from Bhavan Vidyalaya and one from St Soldier School, Sector 16, topped the city in the CBSE Class XII results.

Bhavan Vidyalaya achieved 100 per cent results and 58 per cent of its students scored above 90 per cent marks.

In humanities, Bhavan Vidyalaya’s Asmi topped the city with 98.2 per cent, while in non-medical, Ashutosh Singla, who topped both in Haryana and the tricity in the JEE (Main), topped city with with 97.2 per cent marks. Nancy Garg topped in medical with 95.8 per cent, while Paras Jindal and Khushi Puri of Satluj Public School, Sector 4, topped in commerce by securing 95.8 per cent marks.

Asmi said she wanted to study BA English (Honors) from Delhi University and after that she wanted to give training to children by doing a course in personality development from the top institute of the country.

While Ashutosh wants to become an engineer and contribute to the technical sector of the country, Nancy wants to do MBBS. Nancy said she preferred to study in daylight and took proper night sleep during exams. — TNS
