Continuing their winning spree, the shining stars of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, brought laurels for the school by winning the national gymnastics tournament held at Trivandrum, Kerala. The event was organised by the Gymnastics Federation of India. Children represented Haryana and bagged the third position at the national level. They were awarded trophies and merit certificates. Principal Gulshan Kaur appreciated the students and their coach for their accomplishment and encouraged them to scale new heights.
St Xavier’s High School
An inter-house JAM (just-a-minute) competition was organised for Classes IV, V and VI at St Xavier's High School, Panchkula. Students participated enthusiastically and spoke on different topics which were given on the spot. Jr Vice-Principal (activity) Sabina Banerjee appreciated the efforts put in by the participants and encouraged them to express their ideas more confidently.
AKSIPS-45 Smart School
A workshop on menstrual hygiene was conducted by Procter and Gamble at AKSIPS-45. The programme was aimed at educating girls about the importance of health and hygiene during menstruation. After an informative and interactive session, they were made aware of the changes during puberty and adolescence through a power point presentation. Resource person Esha Malhotra also responded to the queries asked by the students. Director-principal Dr Jasmine Kalra guided the students to maintain hygiene.
St Xavier’s Sr Sec School
A programme aimed at guiding girls on menstrual hygiene and changes that take place during puberty was conducted at St Xavier's Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh. A power point presentation on health and hygiene was conducted by Esha Malhotra, the resource person from by Procter and Gamble. It was an effective and educative session. Free sanitary napkins were distributed to among girls.
Saupin’s-32
The students of commerce of Saupin’s-32 inaugurated “BOSS”- Bank of Saupin’s School. The bank is a prototype of a real bank aimed at teaching students the internal workings of a bank. Students and staff can invest in the bank and get interest on investment. Loans can also be availed. This is the first initiative of its kinds by the students.

Students of Classes I-II visited the Le Corbusier Centre on the World Tourism Day. Children saw varied displays of the eminent architect's creations and got a taste of the city's heritage.
