Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula

The Panchkula District Chess Championship was held at Bhavan Vidyalaya in which 13 teams from schools across the district participated.

 The Panchkula District Chess Championship was held at Bhavan Vidyalaya in which 13 teams from schools across the district participated. Around 200 students competed in the U-11 and U-17 (boys and girls) category. The championship was inaugurated by school principal Gulshan Kaur. She wished luck to all participants. Balkar Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Panchkula, graced the occasion. He felicitated the players. He laid emphasis on the coordination of body and mind for better performance in sports and academics.

AKSIPS-65, Mohali

 Students of Class VIII-A conducted a special assembly to celebrate Mahavir Jayanti. The assembly commenced by seeking blessings of the Almighty. Siya of Class VIII-A delivered a speech on ‘Significance of Mahavir Jayanti’. Associate Director Parnika Singh and Principal Rajminder Kaur Jaitla extended their wishes and laid emphasis on the importance of universal peace, love and harmony.

Blue Bird, Panchkula

 Blue Bird High School organised a special assembly to honour the students who remained regular throughout the 2018-19 session. They were felicitated with trophies by the school director. Principal Vandna Bhatnagar congratulated the students.

Mount Carmel, Mohali

Students of Mount Carmel School, Mohali, attended an orientation on a trip to NASA. They were introduced to space science, robotics, technology and its future.
