While Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is making tall claims that law and order situation is under control in the state, the bicycle of his media adviser was stolen from his house in Panchkula.
Thieves targeted the house of Haryana Chief Minister’s Media Adviser Amit Arya in Sector 12-A, here, and took away his exercise cycle. Arya, who was posted in Chandigarh, was recently shifted to New Delhi for coordinating with the media in the National Capital. The police are now searching for his bicycle.
Arya’s cook Jagmohan has lodged a complaint at Sector 14 police station stating that on April 10, the cycle was parked in the garage of the house in Sector 12-A here. But the next day, he did not find the bicycle, priced around Rs 10,000.
On his complaint, the police have lodged an FIR under Section 380 (theft in dwelling house) at the Sector 14 police station.
Sukhdev Singh, SHO of the Sector 14 police station, said they have started investigations but are yet to get any lead.
