Chandigarh, October 29
A Skoda car rammed into a wall on the Panjab University (PU) campus near Gate No. 3 around 1 am today. The car then collided with two Maruti cars of PU faculty members.
According to sources, the car was being driven by a law student of Chandigarh University. The police impounded the car from the spot after security guards informed them about the incident. However, the student fled from the spot. The police said a case was yet to be registered as no complainant had turned up so far. Ashwini Koul, security officer, PU, said, “An investigation into the case is under way.”
