CGC to host Smart India Hackathon

The Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC), Landran, has been selected as one of the 48 nodal centres to host the grand finale of national-level event — Smart India Hackathon-2019 (SIH2019) Software edition, world’s biggest open innovation platform.

The SIH2019 is an initiative of the MHRD, AICTE and other agencies. The CGC would host around 300 participants from across the country in this 36-hour software product development competition scheduled to be held on March 2 and 3 simultaneously at 48 nodal centers across India. — OC

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
