Eight NCC cadets from Chandigarh, who represented the Punjab Directorate in the All-India Thal Sena Camp (AITSC), were welcomed by the commanding officer of Chandigarh NCC group, Brig Ranjit Singh, at NCC Group Headquarters in Sector 31 here yesterday.

The team of the NCC cadets of the Army wing represented the Punjab Directorate (which comprises HP, Haryana, Punjab And Chandigarh) in the AITSC conducted by the DG NCC in Delhi from 15 September to September 26.

“It was a wonderful learning experience and I feel privileged that I got a chance to attend the prestigious camp,” said Priyanjali Deol of the PGGCG-42, who, along with Gautam Panth of the PGGC-11, bagged 4th all-India position as the best cadet. — TNS
