Class X compartment exams to begin from July 16

The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) has declared the datesheet for Class X compartment examination to be held from July 16 to 24.

As per the orders, compartment exam for most of the languages will be held on July 16. Mathematics, painting and Hindustani Music (vocal) exam will be conducted on July 17. Social Science compartment exam is scheduled to be held on July 18 while science theory and practical exam will be held on July 19.

Hindi course A and B exam will be held on July 20. English Communicative and English Language and Literature will be conducted on July 21. Urdu course A and B and Sanskrit are scheduled to be held on July 23. All these exams will be conducted from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.

Other compartment exams of vocational courses will be conducted on July 24. The centre for practical examination for private candidates will be at the centre of their theory examination, unless otherwise, notified. For date and time of practical examination, private candidates have to contact the principal of the school where they appear for theory exam.

The practical exam will be conducted by the teacher of the school concerned. The result of the examination is likely to be declared by the third week of August. No enquires about the actual date of declaration of the result will be attended to, said the board. — TNS
