The local Meteorological Department has predicted rain in the tricity on Thursday morning.

The weatherman said there were 30 per cent chances of rain during the day on Thursday but quantum of rainfall would be less. The department expected that the weather will be clear after Thursday, at least for two days.

Meanwhile, 15.8 mm of rainfall was recorded in the city on Wednesday. However, the rainfall near the airport area was recorded at 24.8 mm.

The maximum temperature recorded on Wednesday was 29.7°C while the minimum stood at 23°C. The weatherman predicts partly cloudy conditions with thundery development/light rain on Thursday.
