Competition for future lawyers at UILS

Chandigarh, March 16

Moot Court Society organised a three-day intra-departmental Trial Advocacy Competition-2019 at the Department of University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University.

Mentored by Dr Jaimala, faculty in-charge of Moot Court Society, this is the second edition of the competition aimed at honing the trial advocacy skills of future lawyers. The competition began with the draw of lots. Practising lawyers and alumni of the department have joined Moot Court Society for the judgment of various rounds of the competition.

Workshop on effective teaching

The Centre of Academic Leadership and Education Management (CALEM), Department of Education, Panjab University, under the aegis of Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching (PMMMNMTT) and Ministry of Human Resource Development, had organised a week-long workshop on 'Inclusion: Making it happen'. — TNS
