Chandigarh, June 8

A video, in which a policeman is seen thrashed by a girl and boy in Sector 22, went viral on Wednesday.

The video, which was shot by an eyewitness, shows a man wearing a police uniform being thrashed.

The youth then caught the policeman and took him away somewhere.

The local police when contacted denied any such complaint regarding a cop being thrashed. "No such incident has been reported at Sector 17 police station," said a police official.

Cops, however, initiated an investigation after the video went viral.
