Counselling for admission to MA (Punjabi) on July 23

Panjab University (PU) will conduct counselling for admission to MA Punjabi (first semester) at the Department of Punjabi on July 23 at 10 am.

The eligibility for MA Punjabi is 50 per cent in graduate course with compulsory Punjabi and 45 per cent for SC/ST candidates. Admission will be on merit basis for 68 seats. The 15 per cent weightage will be given to those students who studied Punjabi as an elective subject at graduate level. Students who studied Punjabi Honours in graduation will also be given 15 per cent weightage, but those who have Elective Punjabi and Punjabi Honours (both) will be given 20 per cent weightage.

Students with NSS, NCC and any other curricular activities will be given weightage as per grading their certificate maximum up to five per cent.

All those candidates who will be absent in the first counselling will not be entertained in the second counselling.
