Declamation on life of Guru Teg Bahadur

Tarunpreet Kaur of JV Sarvhitkari Senior Secondary School, Sector 71, Mohali, Kashish Nag of DPS School, Zirakpur, and Geetakshi of Shivalik Public School, Mohali, bagged the first, second and third spots, respectively, in a declamation contest on life and teachings of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji at Khalsa College of Technology and Management Studies here on Sunday.

In the contest, organised by the Bharat Vikas Parishad, Punjab (East), 9 students from various branches of the organising body participated. The event was started with lighting of a lamp and singing of ‘Vande Matram’ song by students. Former president of the Mohali Industries’ Association, Anurag Aggarwal, was the chief guest.
