A para-motoring event, 'Udaan', was organised by Chandigarh Spinal Rehab Centre at Forest Hill Golf and Country Club Resort, Nayagaon.

Flyboy Aviation and Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation partnered with Chandigarh Spinal Rehab and J K Cement Ltd sponsored the event.

Over 100 differently abled participants took the seven-minute para-motor glide ride at the golf venue. On this occasion, chief guest Commodore Ranbir Talwar of the Indian Head Injury Foundation (IHIF), New Delhi, gave away wheel chairs as a pre Diwali gift to those who needed them.

Nicky P Kaur, founder and CEO, Chandigarh Spinal Rehab Centre, said the event was organised to provide them an opportunity to show the world that they can face challenges. Until now, these participants who were confined to wheelchairs could not even imagine that they could soar in the open skies.
