Doctors bring laurels to PGI

Two doctors have brought laurels to the PGI here. The National Academy of Medical Sciences, India, has awarded the Dr SS Sidhu Award for 2018 to Dr Aditi Kapur, Additional Professor, paediatric dentistry unit, Oral Health Sciences Centre, PGI, for her paper, “Guiding the Child’s Teeth with Class III Dental Mal-occlusion into Correct Occlusion: A Clinician’s Parenting.” 

She received cash, scroll and a commemorative medal at the annual conference held in Puducherry. Dr Aman Sharma from the Department of Internal Medicine,  has been awarded a fellowship of the the National Academy of Medical Sciences in rheumatology. He was honoured during the 58th annual conference of the academy at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Puducherry. — TNS
