The air was abuzz with excitement and anticipation as the 2nd edition of Model United Nation in collaboration with the International Indian Model United Nation commenced at Doon International School, Sector 69, Mohali. IG (Punjab) V Neeraja was the chief guest. Sacred Heart Senior Secondary School won the IIMUN trophy.

Shishu Niketan, Chandigarh

Shishu Niketan Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 22, Chandigarh, hosted two-day CBSE capacity building programme in the subject of social science. A total of 50 teachers of 25 schools from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh attended the workshop.

St Soldier, Mohali

St Soldier School, Mohali, annual feature 'Technothon 2018', the two-day mega event with the theme 'India and the Commonwealth Games', provided a platform to budding technocrats. Over 130 students participated in it. Gursimran Singh Bedi from St Soldier, Mohali, won the first prize in colour splash and Ishita and Japsanjam from Saupins School won the first prize in PPT. Aarush Singhal from Saupins School bagged the first prize in poster-making competition. Ramandeep Singh bagged the first prize in blog writing competition.
