Dr Khosla is new C-DAC Exec Director
Chandigarh, December 24
Dr Praveen Kumar Khosla, a senior scientist from the DRDO, has been appointed as Executive Director of the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Mohali.
Prior to this, he was Associate Director at the DRDO’s Terminal Ballistics Research Laboratory here. Dr Khosla has an experience of over 30 years in the DRDO and his achievements include the Scientist of the Year Award.
At the C-DAC, his focus areas would be artificial intelligence, augmented reality, smart solutions and internet of things as well as giving an impetus to the defence and strategic sector and enhancing collaborative research. — TNS
