As many as 20 disciples of Bharatnatyam Guru Suchitra Mitra aged between five and 25 presented dances to mark the conclusion of a month-long 22nd edition of Padam Institute at Randhawa Auditorium here on Friday.
Guru Suchitra and senior disciple Asha Madhu opened up with traditional Pushpanjali in laudation of lord Natraja before Asha Madhu presented a salutation to gods in a composition Janki Ramnan.
Another captivating performance of Jyotiswaram by senior disciples, Mannan and Sumera, was well received as also displaying of fundamental syllables of Bharatnatayam by 14 fresh trainees led by Suchitra herself.
