Art lovers in the city relished the splendour of regional folk dances of Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Punjab in a spectacle, 'Aayi Barkha Bahar', organised by Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi at Tagore Theatre today.

The accomplished young dancers of the Virasat-e-Punjab Art and Culture and troupe gave a majestic start to the fest through entrancing loodi dance and later jhoomar under the direction of Hardeep Singh. Keeping up the pace, Rajasthan Sangeet Natak Akademi dancers presented the famous laanguria dance and the rim bhavai before the dazzling dancers of Maharashtra led by Swapnil Dhotre from Mumbai .OC
