Mohali, April 9

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh exhorted the youth to master excellence in their chosen spheres as their success would eventually define the future of our country.

The CM was addressing the audience at the 39th Founder’s Day of Yadavindra Public School here on Monday. He said children were the beacons of change and in a diverse country as ours it was imperative for students to have wide ranging spectrum of academic pursuits.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
