Patiala, March 13

An exhibition of calligraphy and paintings related to history of Punjab was held at Punjabi University here today.

Vice-Chancellor (VC) Dr BS Ghuman inaugurated the exhibition under the banner ‘Panj rang’ at the museum and art gallery on the university campus.

Officials said paintings and calligraphy of six artists, related to history of Punjab, were displayed at the exhibition. He said such works were effective in presenting history of Punjab and inheritance to the world.

The paintings displayed at the exhibition include those of Parminder Singh, Fateh Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Jaspreet Singh, Sarbjit Singh and Satwinder Singh.
