Chandigarh, November 15

Yet again, the rain forecast of the Chandigarh Meteorological Centre turned out to be wrong as clouds missed a date with the city. However, winds last night brought down the temperature. According to the Met Department, the temperature will dip further in the coming days.

Contrary to the previous forecast of rain, the department has now stated that the city will not see heavy showers. However, it has not ruled out a drizzle.

Surinder Paul, Director, Chandigarh Meteorological Centre, had stated that due to western disturbances, there were strong chances of rain on November 13 and 14.

However, both days remained dry. Despite repeated attempts, Surinder Paul was not available for comments.

The maximum temperature recorded today was 25.9°C, two degrees below normal, while the minimum temperature was 12.7°C. According to the weather forecast, the sky will remain party cloudy tomorrow.

While issuing a travel advisory, the Met Department has stated that there will be shallow to moderate fog in the morning and evening and motorists should drive with caution.
