Several proposals, including fire proximity suits for fire and emergency services, along with a hydraulic trolley and a water tanker for the horticulture division, were approved by the Finance and Contract Committee (F&CC) of the Municipal Corporation today.
The hydraulic trolley and water tanker will be purchased at a cost of Rs 37.17 lakh besides 28 fire proximity suits.
The F&CC observed that the minimum monthly licensing fee of an eating joint at Shanti Kunj, Sector 16, may be reduced froms Rs 55,000 to Rs 30,000 per month and a tender may be floated for the same.
The supply and fixing of open air gym equipment at various parks of Mauli Jagran at an estimated cost of Rs 21.32 lakh was also given a go-ahead. As many as Rs 20.44 lakh has been approved for laying the HDPE irrigation pipeline network for the supply of tertiary treated water in Sector 63A.
The committee approved Rs 29.93 lakh for applying road marking paint on various roads and parkings in Sectors 34, 35 and 44. All these proposals will now be placed before the MC General House.
Other proposals
