Patiala, August 23
The Patiala police have booked a father-son duo, on Thursday, for cheating in a property deal. The accused have been identified as Ashok Aggarwal (father) and Vivek Aggarwal.
The duo, with their partner, Susham Singla, bought 20 acres of land in 2006 and opened a private company. However, the company was suspended by the Government of India, and the accused further sold the land without informing Susham Singla. Despite repeated requests, the accused failed to provide records of the same land.
Following this, a case was registered. The complainant said, “I had filed a complaint against the accused in December, but the police registered the case yesterday.”
