Government Model-56

Chandigarh: A science exhibition was organised on the premises of Government Model Senior School, Sector 56, with enthusiasm. School Principal Shashi Bala inaugurated the exhibition. 

The British School 

Chandigarh: Students of Class II of The British School enacted two short plays. Children played their respective roles with confidence and gratification.

Bhavan Vidyalaya 

Panchkula: A scientific talk was organised by Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula, in collaboration with the Knowledge Seekers Forum Chandigarh. Organisation convener Dr GS Kainth (Retd Professor, IIT Kanpur) and Madam Nandita Bachhawat presided over the session. The session was conducted by Professor Vishwanathan, Head, Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER, Mohali. 

Aanchal International 

Chandigarh: Aanchal International School took the students of Classes LKG to III to Rose Garden for a nature walk. The students observed beautiful plants, flowers, leaves and were delighted to be close to the nature.

The Knowledge Bus Global

Kharar:  National Sports Day was celebrated at The Knowledge Bus Global School  in Mohali by paying tributes to legendary hockey player Major Dhyan  Chand. Students were told about the importance of sports. The day marks  the birth anniversary of hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand. Students  participated in various sports activities with enthusiasm and zeal.

St Xavier’s  

Chandigarh: Around 55 teachers from different branches of St Xavier`s took part in the St Xavier`s Staff Badminton Tournament-2018 in the men and women categories. Matches were played on league basis. Shailainder Sahi and Gurpreet Kaur emerged as winners in the women category while Harinder Rana and Abhay Sharma were winners in the men category. 

Guru Nanak Public

Chandigarh: Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36, organsied a debate. The topic of the debate was ‘Should Senior Citizens be given re-employment opportunities after retirement?’

Mount Carmel 

Zirakpur: A puppet show was organised at Mount Carmel School, Zirakpur, for the students of pre primary and primary wing. A puppet show was presented which was filled with humour and excitement. The music show also enhanced the mood of children and they enjoyed the show to the fullest.

Golden Bells 

Mohali: Golden Bells Public School, Sector 77, Mohali, celebrated National Sports Day in memory of Major Dhyan Chand under which school organised  a marathon race. TNS
