Gurukul Global School celebrated Mother’s Day with great fervour. The school organised a warm and affectionate morning for mothers. Students’ mothers participated in the activities, including ramp walk, jhatpat snacks and dance competition, among others.

School chairman Col CS Bawa (Retd) handed over the badge of appointment to Akashdeep Singh as the head boy and Nanty as the head girl. Samridhi Bhardwaj, Alex Pranav Chaudhary, Kushaan Maini, Aaron Halder of St Xavier’s, Chandigarh, and Akshaj, Samay, Rabbani Lehal, Eklavya Mogla of Vivek High stood first in “Salability” event. Jai Dureja, Karan Sekhri, Nishita Monga, Avni Puri of St Xavier’s, Mohali, ranked second and Ayra Ali, Abhinav Biswas, Tejeshwar Singh, Anya Vashisht of St Stephen’s, Chandigarh, came third. In “Story Telling” (Class X), Harshit Singh of Vivek High School, Chandigarh, Akhilesh Mehra of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh, and Shubhangi Arora of St Xavier’s, Chandigarh, stood first, second and third, respectively.
