Harbhajan Academy register 46-run victory over Patiala XI
Chandigarh, June 2
Harbhajan Academy, Jalandhar, beat Patiala XI by 46 runs in the second match of the U-16 Inter-academy tournament for HARA Cup.
The Jalandhar boys secured three points from the tie. Sent in to bat, Harabhajan academy were all out for 122 runs in 36 overs. Damandeep and Devkaran scored 23 and 19 runs, respectively.
For Patiala XI, Jaiveer took three wickets for 22 runs. In reply, Patiala XI was all out for 76 runs in 37 overs. Anoop took four wickets for 10 runs and was instrumental in winning the game for Harbhajan XI, Jalandhar.
Former Punjab Ranji player Sunil Saggi gave away the Man of the Match award to Anoop for his brilliant bowling efforts. On Monday, NIC'S XI, Patiala, will play against Hara Cricket Academy, Ludhiana.—TNS
