Harsh off to a winning start

CHANDIGARH:Harsh registered a 4-1 win over Dhruv in the opening match of the U-10 category at the Lawrebs Tennis Open Tournament here today.

Harsh registered a 4-1 win over Dhruv in the opening match of the U-10 category at the Lawrebs Tennis Open Tournament here today. Priyanshi overcame Anaya 4-3(5), while Adit beat Yajat 4-3(2). 

In the boys' U-12 competition, Trishubh opened his campaign with a 4-0 win over Ramneek 4-0. Jagteswar got the better of Adhvay. 

Madhav drubbed Arshmehar 4-0 in the opening match of the of the boys’ U-14 category, while Harjas survived 4-3(3) against Jiya in a girls’ U-14 tie. 

Akshita nudged past Annaya 4-2 in the girls’ U-12 contest, while Sargun packed off Harjas 4-1 in the girls’ U-16 first round. 

In boys’ U-16 opening round, Nandit blanked Arshmehar 4-0, while Priyanshu pipped Jagteswar 4-3(5). — TNS
