The Haryana Government today said it would celebrate third International Yoga Day on June 21 at district and sub-division level.
Yoga training programmes will also be organised from June 1 to 15 to impart training to those participating in International Yoga Day, the government said.
“On the occasion of International Yoga Day, the state government ministers would be chief guests in each district,” said Haryana Sports Minister Anil Vij.
“It has been decided that 2,100 persons in each district, including school and college children, scouts and guides, universities, yoga institutions, gurukuls, police personnel, NCC cadets and NSS, Nehru Yuva Kendras and general public would participate in the event,” said Vij.
“Similarly, 500 persons in each sub-division will participate in the function,” the minister added.
