Havan, bhajan contest mark DAV founder’s day

Patiala, April 19

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Hansraj, the founder of DAV Public School, Patiala, who worked tirelessly for the social uplift, the school, organised a special vedic havan. An inter-house bhajan competition was also organised during which singers from all four houses presented many mesmerising bhajans. Speaking on the occasion, Principal Vivek Tiwari said Mahatma Hansraj was a epitome of self-sacrifice and a true social worker who advocated many social concerns. His life journey sets high standards for every human being.

The publication of the school activity calendar 2018-19 was also released. The results of the competition: Gurudev Tagore House (1st), Swami Dayanand House (2nd) and Swami Vivekanand House (3rd). — TNS
