A historical religious play ‘Hind Di Chadar’ was staged during the ongoing three-day ‘Shaguffe-2018’ drama festival at Randhawan auditorium on Wednesday. Written by Ravinder Singh Sodhi, the play was directed by Baninderjit Singh Banni.
The play depicted the supreme sacrifice by the ninth Sikh guru, Guru Teg Bahadur. Navdeep Singh as Aurangzeb, Nikhil Mehta as Makhan Lobana, Vivek Roy Khanna (suleman), Gurjant Singh (qazi), Balwinder (nawab), Kamaldeep Kaur and Neha were convincing. CSNA Secretary Balkar Sidhu and Jagjit Sarin blessed the artistes.
