Hriday Pandey logged a stunning comeback win over Pratham Gopal in the opening match of the main draw of the boys' U-14 category in the STA-AITA Talent Series (TS-7) Tennis Championship at the CLTA Complex, Sector 10, on Monday.  Pandey lost the first set 4-6, but came back strongly to win the next two sets 6-3 6-3 to advance to the second round.

Meanwhile, Janish Tamak also advanced by defeating Vanish Shetty 6-1 6-3. Keshav Dangi blanked Arnav Bishnoi 6-0 6-2, while Aarush Sharma registered a straight sets 6-4 6-4 victory over Uday Batra. Shubham Singh also moved ahead by defeating Shivansh Gupta 6-3 6-1. Aman Kumar defeated Arnav Malik 6-0 6-2 and Akshat Dhull overpowered Siddharth Kakkar 6-1 6-1. Harsh Shandilya also logged an easy win over Anirudh Sangra 6-4 6-2, while Shraey Vir blanked Manvir Hundal without conceding any game 6-0 6-0.

Nishank Thakur stunned Arnav Malik 6-0 6-0 in the first round match of the boys' U-16 category. In other matches, Rajan defeated Janish Tamak 6-3 6-4, Aryan Thakur overpowered Divjot Singh Tiwana 6-0 6-1 and Shivansh Gupta beat Anirudh 6-1 6-2. In the last two matches, Sharthak Singla defeated Sukhambir Singh 6-4 6-2 and Paras Chauhan beat Vivaan Gill 6-2 6-3.

In the girls' U-14 category, Kinjal Singh earned a hard fought win over Vanya Arora. Kinjal won the first set 6-3 without facing any trouble, but Vanya won the second set 6-2. In the final set, Kinjal regained her form and won 6-3. Kanupriya Rajawat outplayed Khushi Sharma 6-0 6-0, while Anoushka Sharma beat Yashika Sharma 6-1 6-3. Inaksh Saran came back from one set down to beat Sargam Singla. Sargam won the first set 2-6, but Inaksh won the next two 6-4 6-1. Vanisha Sharma blanked Khushi Rana 6-4 6-3 and Vishita Ranbir overpowered Niharika Moudgil 6-0 6-1. In the girls' U-16 category, Vishita beat Khushi Rana 2-6 6-0 7-5, while Khushi Sharma defeated Kritika Walia 6-1 7-6(8).
