16-member Punjab squad in the U-23 One Day Trophy, which starts from October 31. 

Punjab will start their campaign against Jammu & Kashmir Cricket Association on October 31, while they will face Vidarbha on November 2.

The side will square off with Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association on November 4 and take on Baroda on November 5. They will lock horns with Maharashtra on November 9 before meeting Tamil Nadu on November 13. 

The team will be accompanied by coach Sunil Saggi, assistant coach Dinesh Sanwal and trainer Neerav Bhanot, Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stated in a media release here today.  

In their last two league matches, Punjab will play Gujarat and Karnataka on November 15 and 19, respectively. All the matches will be played in Mysore. 

Punjab had made it to the semifinals in the last edition of the tournament.

The selection was made by the Junior Cricket Committee headed by Balbir Singh, along with Love Ablish from Ludhiana, Mandeep Singh from Jalandhar, Charanjeet Singh from Amritsar and Amanpreet Singh from Mohali, PCA added.  

The meeting was convened by PCA honorary joint secretary Surjit Rai.
