Ishita rallied from a game down to beat Garima 18-21 21-11 21-18 to reach the women’s singles final in the ongoing State Badminton Championship at the Sector 7 Sports Complex here today.

In the second semifinal, Kailash defeated Jagriti 21-13 21-19.

In men’s doubles semifinals, Sachin and Varun stunned top seed Ashish Sharma and Pankaj Nathani 16-21 21-18 21-12, while Kanwaldeep and Rupinder beat Abhishek and Ayush 21-18 21-12.

Top seed Abhishek Saini, meanwhile, humbled Shaurya Madaan 21-14 21-15 to set up the title clash with Talwinder Singh Lalh, who beat Nikhil 21-6 21-10.
