Beginning from the events that led to the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, it ends with a look at its aftermath.

Featuring newspaper clippings of The Bombay Chronicle, the Yorkshire Post, and photographs of Udham Singh and others, it presents the massacre as a part of a much larger system of colonial oppression in the state.

The Assistant Commissioner said, “Youngsters should have a deep understanding of the history and events that shaped it. It has brought alive valuable contributions made by our great leaders.”

Officials concerned with the exhibition said it had been held in Amritsar, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Bhatinda and would be organised in SAS Nagar after Patiala.
