Jaskaran ‘Mr Fresher’, Tashi ‘Miss Fresher’

A freshers' party for the students of BA-I was held with pomp and show at Post Graduate Government College, Sector 46, today.
Prof Dr Rosy Walia Joshi, Principal of the college was the chief guest. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Students enthralled the audience with an array of cultural programmes like songs, ramp walk, fusion dance, modeling etc.
Jaskaran Singh was adjudged ‘Mr Fresher’ and Tashi Angmo ‘Miss Fresher’. Gaurav and Jaspreet Kaur were crowned ‘Mr Personality’ and ‘Ms Charming’, respectively.
On the occasion, Prof Walia exhorted students to give equal importance to academics and extracurricular activities.
