Lecture on Vivekananda’s speech in Chicago
Chandigarh, September 11
The University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, Chandigarh, in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Centre for Swami Vivekananda Studies, organised a lecture on the topic “Youth have quantum power, how to develop it is a million dollar question” to mark the anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s speech in Chicago in the Historical World Religion Congress.
Professor Nandita Shukla Singh, Former DSW (Women) and Coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Centre for Swami Vivekananda Studies, was the chief guest on the occasion. Prof Nandita said India continued to be a country that had harboured refugees. — TNS
